I was doing a disservice to my clients! Are you too?
I've been a CRM agency for one year now. Wow. Time sure does fly when you are doing something that you love... and if you know me, you know that's playing with technology!
I love to make things. I love to automate things. I love to make business easy for others. I love data and running reports. It's so fun for me.
BUT... what if I told you I realized I was doing a disservice to my clients with this CRM tool?
Here's what I realized: Not everyone loves tech. Not everyone has the time or the knowledge or skillset to create this magical business tool.
And my giving people the ability to just buy the CRM without getting professional set up help, was doing them a disservice.
And if you know me, you know that my values are kindness, service and support.
And by just selling someone the CRM for $149/month and sending them on their way felt like I was sending someone into the woods without a map or a flashlight.
This was doing them a huge disservice.
What I really love is helping people set it up. I loved helping make their business visions and dreams come to life. I love saying "Yes it can do that and I'll do it for you, no problem!"
Is it selfish of me to deny someone the CRM? Here's the deal... they can buy this CRM anywhere. Thousands of people sell it. The difference is that I truly care more about your success than putting that money in my pocket.
I want people to be able to feel like they have a long-term solution, and they don't have to jump from CRM to CRM trying to find the perfect fit. (P.S. I was totally guilty of that)
If I am going to preach about Elevating Customer Experiences, then I needed to start with my own business. And doing my customers a disservice by not providing them everyything they needed is no longer okay with me.
Plain and simple.
Now, where might you need to tweak your offers to provide the full transformation your clients are looking for?
Don't let them settle for less when you know that in order to get the best results they need XYZ.
