Is having a successful business really important to you?
How important?
What are you willing to do for it?
If you said "Whatever it takes" we have something in common.
You may have heard me tell this story before, but I learned a valuable lesson about success from my son, who wanted more than anything to be the starting QB on his high school football team. He was a scrawny pubescent 14 year old with a dream. But in order to accomplish that dream, he had to put in the work.
My husband asked him what he was willing to do to get there, and my son said "Whatever it takes". We hired him a personal trainer to put some meat on those bones of his, to help him with his endurance, stamina, and strength. Not only physically, but mentally as well.
My son went 6-days a week. Even though he puked almost every day for the first week of training.
The 3 things I noticed my son did to succeed and reach his goal:
1. Discipline - Show up even when you don't want to
2. Consistency - Practice over and over and over and over again
3. Accountability - Because I said I would
Where could you use a little more discipline, consistency and accountability in your business? Are you showing up for yourself and your clients?
Remember, in order to get a different result, we have to be willing to do and try something different. What are you willing to try?
